Geology
Part of the Torridonian Supergroup > Stoer Group > Stac Frada Member. First identified as a suevite by Amor et al., 2008. The Stoer Group consists of the oldest non-metamorphosed sandstone (fluvial) in Britain. The Stac Frada Member contains accretionary lapilli and chloritized shards of glass fragments. The Stac Frada Member is moderately to very well sorted and graded with > 50 vol% vitric clasts
