Impact melt rock that comprises a heterogeneous mixture of impact melt phases and where there is evidence for these groundmass phases being fluid during and after transport (Osinski et al., 2008). This distinguishes such rocks from coherent crystalline silicate melt rocks and impact melt-bearing breccias that possess a clastic groundmass.
